Job Title:
Part-Time Dispatch
Job Description: To receive incoming calls from police personnel, other public safety agencies, and the general public; to provide emergency communication services including gathering, receiving, recording and disseminating information from police, fire and the general public to appropriate parties and agencies; and to perform a variety of technical communications tasks in support of the dispatching program.
Minimum Job Requirements: To apply for this Job you must have the following.
(1) A Class C or higher driver’s license
(2) Not have a criminal conviction of a class B misdemeanor or higher
(3) Have general knowledge of typing and computer skills.
(4) Be 18 years of age or older.
(5) Able to read, write, add and subtract
(6) Speak at least the English language.
(7) Walk, bend, climb, carry heavy items, read small print, follow directions
(8) Capable of multitasking
